Our equestrian platform features a wide range of Equifeel session ideas.
Equifeel is a discipline based on playful exercises and challenges performed on the ground, designed to develop trust, communication and the bond between horse and handler.
It's perfect for those days when you don't feel like riding and simply want to spend some quality time with your horse. However, Equifeel requires patience — and having a small pouch of treats on hand can certainly make things easier from time to time!
Equifeel is also a great opportunity to get creative with some rather unexpected pieces of equipment.
Each of our Equifeel exercises comes with a diagram showing the course and setup required. Every exercise guide includes detailed information about the objectives, step-by-step instructions and potential difficulties you may encounter.
The Equifeel setups available on Appaloo Equestrian are incredibly varied. Whether you want your horse to step onto different objects, lead them through a course, or even ask them to back up from a distance, there's a challenge for everyone — and everything is clearly explained.
Our search bar makes it easy to find the Equifeel session that's right for you. You simply need to select three criteria: your level, your training area and your equipment.
First, tell us whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced rider/handler. This will determine the difficulty level of the exercises we recommend.
Next, choose whether you're working in an arena, round pen or outdoors.
Finally, select the Equifeel equipment you have available and how many of each item you have. Do you have tarps, jump poles, barrels, cavaletti, hoops, boundary markers, cones or curtains? And if so, how many?
Once you've filled everything in, hit "Search" and choose from all the exercises tailored to your requirements!
No more exercises that don't match your level or require equipment you don't have. No more struggling to find inspiration for your sessions.
Forget the hassle — you've found THE solution: Appaloo Equestrian!
Our community platform also welcomes your own exercise ideas to help other riders and horse lovers learn, train and progress.
So, if you have an Equifeel session you'd like to share, simply fill in the form. It's easy: tell us what type of session it is, describe it in a few steps and add a simple diagram to illustrate it. We'll take care of formatting everything for you.
