A riding exercise platform fed by riders themselves

The Appaloo Equestrian app is collaborative. The exercise sheets available for free are submitted by our large community of riders, so you can browse hundreds of session sheets across more than 10 equestrian disciplines.

Once you have downloaded the app you can save your favorite exercises to find them again easily, submit your own sessions to share them with others, and talk with other riders about what worked and what did not, in the comments under every exercise sheet.

« I used the website before the app came out and I really do use it often to find inspiration. The app is very useful and free on top of that; the feature that tells you the distances between poles is genuinely handy, and so is everything else! »

« This app is for everyone who spends time around horses, from the instructor to the Shetland owner! There are lots of different exercises across several disciplines, ridden and in hand, and there is also a tool that works out the distances between ground poles or fences based on the size of the pony or horse. You can join in by sharing exercises. The app is free and that is really great. I can only recommend it! »

Frequently asked questions about the app

What is available for free in Appaloo?
Everything that comes from the community: the hundreds of exercise sheets, the search by discipline, level and equipment, unlimited favorites, the distance calculator, the comments and the option to submit your own sessions. Only the exercises and programs written by professional coaches need a subscription.
Which disciplines are available in the app?
Dressage, show jumping, hunter, cavalettis and ground poles, equifeel, lungeing, groundwork, long reins, TREC and mountain trail. The list above links to the exercises for each one.
My favorite exercise is not in the app — what can I do?
Submit it. The “Share my exercise” form is reachable from any sheet, and your session joins the library once it has been reviewed. That is how the catalog grows.
I have a young horse — can I find suitable exercises?
Yes. Filter on the beginner level: every sheet states its difficulty, so the search only returns sessions written for that level. Groundwork, lungeing and long reins can also be filtered as disciplines in their own right.
