Goal(s)

Complete a course in long-reins (or on foot) to work on direction, halt, and starting at the walk.

Process

1- Start between the cones
2- Straight line passage between 2 poles (halt possible between the poles)
3- Halt between the cones
4- Slalom
5- Step over the first cavaletti
6- Turn + step over the 2nd cavaletti
7- Ground poles
8- Halt between the starting cones

The course can be completed in both directions (from 1 to 8 or from 8 to 1).

To make the course more challenging, you can add the cloverleaf exercise (placed in the center of the course, accessible at any stage), form an angle with the poles (in a V shape, for example) at stage 2, and perform the course at the trot. It is also possible to add a tarp; for example, between the cones, to increase difficulty (provided the horse is already familiar with the tarp).

Difficulties

Link several small exercises together.
