Precision of aids to achieve a clear halt.
A ground pole is placed on the circle. The horse must perform a halt over the pole with the forelegs on one side and the hind legs on the other. The rider must accurately place their cues to request a precise halt over the pole. This also provides the horse with a precise reference point. It also slightly works on proprioception.
The difficulty will increase with the gait.
