Goal(s)

Change the location of your circle while maintaining the same diameter.

Process

Position yourself on a circle within the cones in the hand you wish. Adjust the gait according to your difficulties. After two to three rounds well within your cones, make the change of location and then put the horse back on a circle within the cones. The cones should be placed so that the circle measures between 12 and 16 meters in diameter.

Difficulties

The horse must pass well through the gates, and be careful not to walk as much as your horse.

Lunging | Medium

Linking tight curves and straight lines on the lunge helps to: - challenge the horse’s lateral balance (and therefore engage the thoracic sling alternately on each side) - encourage the horse to take responsibility for maintaining his own balance
