Goal(s)

Improve the horse's responsiveness.

Process

Set up a jump (80cm). Once the horse is warmed up at all three gaits, approach the jump at the walk. If you need to increase impulsion, about 2 to 3 meters before the jump, ask for canter so that the horse has enough impulsion to clear the fence, but the horse should not canter before the jump. If the horse picks up canter after the jump, it means the impulsion was correct.

Difficulties

The horse must be responsive.
