Goal(s)

Learn/reinforce the movement of the hindquarters

Process

Set up at least 4 ground poles in a fan shape (can increase to 6 or 8). Enter at the widest side at a walk, parallel to the ground pole until arriving perpendicular to the next pole. Halt and ask for a hindquarters movement of a quarter turn. Once out of the setup, take the trot to regain activity in the gait. Change the direction of the ground poles to change the direction of hindquarters mobilization. (the setup should not be approached in reverse)

Difficulties

Immobility of the shoulders during hindquarters movement. Straightness along the poles. Responsiveness to the isolated leg. Fluidity of the hindquarters movements.

Super idée pour mon jeune qui connait les déplacements des hanches mais a tendance à reculer. ça permet de le remettre en avant 👌
