Improve halts.

Process

Place a cone (or several) in your arena to help you visualize. Perform a circle around this cone, and ask for a halt at the half-circle. Then move off again. Initially, perform the exercise at a walk, then gradually increase the difficulty by performing it at a trot, and then at a canter.

Difficulties

Maintain a consistent and dynamic pace in the curves before and after the halt.
