Ground Poles at Canter and Trot
Created by maryon
Created by maryon
To work on straightness, bending, canter transitions, engagement, and rhythm.
Begin at the trot over the four ground poles in the center (either to the left or right), then pick up the canter (left or right lead) from the markers at the end of the line, and canter over the two ground poles placed next to the four trot poles. After cantering over the poles, transition back to trot after passing the markers at the end of the line. Trot over the four ground poles again, and then pick up the canter on the opposite diagonal after the markers. Repeat the exercise as many times as desired.
Picking up the correct canter lead, managing your turns, and maintaining straightness.
très bon exercice pour travailler le calme, les courbes, les transitions et les abdos ✅
